To the many authors/scriptwriters/storytellers worldwide

DO NOT KILL OFF THE DOG!!!

It always happens and it always annoys the hell out of me. What has the death achieved?

The latest culprit is Patrick Ness in The Knife of Never Letting Go. Brilliant book and very gripping, but there was absolutely no reason to kill Manchee :/

Rant over and back to reading :D

get-motivation:

That moment when you finish an amazing book…

You close the book, and reality sinks back in. You blink a lot, needing to readjust to the light. You feel broken inside, this world is not as great as the one in books. You ache inside, all you want to do is get the sequel or read it again.

Am I the only one who feels this way?
